An ER nurse from Tarrant County was accused of attempting to produce child pornography when she allegedly tried to lure teen boy for sex and entice minors to send nude pictures.

The 37-year-old RN has been in custody since her arrest in August. She faces between 15 and 30 years in prison at her sentencing in April.

Over a period of nearly four weeks, the RN continued to message who she thought was a minor, often asking to meet up for sex or requesting nude photographs.

When the undercover officer’s persona resisted, the RN allegedly would send sad-face emojis. In one instance, the RN allegedly suggested that the supposed 13-year-old boy bring along a female friend if they met for sex.

On Aug. 28, the RN allegedly asked for the undercover officer’s address and they made plans to meet up the following day. When she arrived at the venue on Aug. 29, police were there to arrest her.

The Texas Board of Nursing sent a letter to the RN regarding the issue so then she can have the chance to defend herself. However, she was not able to provide a good defense for herself. Therefore, the Board placed her RN license to a disciplinary action instead.
