There are different cases that are filed every single day before the Texas Board of Nursing (BON). On or about January 26, 2019, while employed as a Registered Nurse, the RN failed to properly assess and/or document assessments of patient 1 and patient 2. The RN’s conduct deprived subsequent caregivers of essential information on which to base ongoing medical care.
In response, the RN states that she followed procedure and protocol. And the RN admits to not documenting her assessments in a timely manner, due to patient safety taking priority.
The RN failed to properly present and defend her case against the court. As a result, she was disciplined and suspended by the Texas Board of Nursing.
